Greetings.
I am at a loss to understand what is going on with my Note II.
Before the last firmware update, I was getting the "device status: modified" problem even though I have not rooted my phone. I would get back to "normal" by taking out the SD card, rebooting etc.
However, after the last firmware upgrade, now what happens is that the device status seems to switch between normal and modified completely randomly. It seems to stabilise on "normal' eventually, but this is bizarre.
I submitted this question to Samsung who simply said to send in my phone for repair. Not helpful and I don't want to be without my Note as I use it intensively for work.
Has anyone seen this issue? Does it matter? Is there any way of avoiding it?
Cheers
