Exchange active sync and contacts

I have the Sprint Note II. I just started a new job and they use exchange. I have all my contacts from my Google and the phone in the contacts. I set up the exchange to sync Contacts also but they only seem to sync with themselves? I would like to see all my contacts sync with the Exchange, so I can see them in my desktop Outlook. Any ideas?

Are the contacts that are already in Exchange showing up on your phone? If not, you'll need to tweak that appropriately.

As to getting contacts from other sources into Exchange, the easiest approach is to export them from GMail, for example, and then import them into Exchange by using Outlook on your desktop. We did that with a bunch of random sources on one of our phones recently, consolidating all of them into Exchange and deleting them from the other sources. We then also turned off synchronization with those sources, which probably saves a bit on battery life.
