Do pictures that goes to drop box get deleted of phone?

I'm new to smart phones and new to Android and drop box. I'm asking because I took some photos of sine event a month ago but now the picture isn't on my phone anymore. I can find it on my drop box. I'm pretty sure I didn't delete the photos, I have no reason to so I'm wondering what happened to them

It shouldn't. It simply "copies" the photo to your dropbox acct. You may want to go into dropbox on your pc to check your settings.

From within the dropbox app and looking at a particu picture press the star key. It will download the picture to your gallery.
