Just hold down the home button, go to the pie chart at the bottom, then go to the RAM tab and hit clear.

If I am not mistaken that just closes some running applications & doesn't clean the stuff left behind from being on the Internet & so forth.

I use 1Tap cleaner. Get it in the play store. Been using it for years.

I use App Cache Cleaner. Widget shows you how much space you can clear. Goes from green to yellow to red, depending on size of cache. Seems to work well for me

I just got clean master. Its at the top of the list for cache cleaners. 10 mill plus downloads even XDA endorses it which apparently they dont normally do for these kinds of things. If you are rooted it will move appdata to sd card as well.

After my very first use I noticed an imediate differwnce in my battery life the next day. Its almost like it was when I first got it 6 months ago.

Best of all its free.
