I'm very interested in the new Air Command for the S-pen.

I can't imagine the S-pen on the note 2 wouldn't be able to handle the new software.

So anybody think Samsung will update the Note 2 with new Air Command (after the Note 3 has had it's premier of course)

At this stage I think most of us would just be happy with 4.2!

Maybe for a while, but we are never happy long before we want the next update.

Air command is done through software. If you own a note 2 then you must already be aware that when the pen hovers of the screen a blue dot appears. All they have done is replaced the dot with a quick access panel. I doubt that samsung will port this feature over to the note 2 as it one of its biggest selling points for the note 3. Having said that since it is in fact done through software I would expect the root community to port it out pretty quickly.

I doubt Samsung will spend any resources adding capabilities to the Note 2. Time will tell.

Samsung won't add any features to the Note 2 that have been advertised with the Note 3.

Like someone mentioned above though, I'm sure they'll be a root for it though eventually.

what is root Community and how Can one benefit from them. Note 2 is my first android phone that I purchased 2 months back and after Seeing the official video for note 3 I just regret it. I think I will feel better if at least Air Command feature Can be Updated for note 2
