Hi all, happy new year.
I updated my Galaxy Note 2 to Android 4.3 over Christmas. Generally quite happy with it. Only thing is, I use the standard earphones that came with the phone and an app called Headset Button Controller so when I'm driving I can use clicks on the earphones remote to launch S Voice and tell it to call someone. But since the 4.3 update this is no longer possible. I contacted the developer of the Headset Button Controller app and apparently if you have a secure keyguard (pin, pattern, etc) it now cannot be bypassed. Has anyone else come across this problem or have a solution for hands free calling? Not having a key guard is not an option in my opinion because it leaves my phone open for any one to pick it up and read my emails, messages etc.
