My note 2 was drenched in rain a few weeks back, it was treated with hair dryer (I know its a dumb idea), then the parts were dismantled and put into a container of rice to absorb the moisture.

Touchscreen and everything still works as long as you know wherever you touch takes you to lol. I'm suspecting it might be a problem with the motherboard. Can anyone confirm or advise me on a solution?
Your help is greatly appreciated! :)

A hair dryer aint a dumb idea, just make sure it doesn't fry the screen. I am not sure what you are seeing, is the screen colored or is it back to normal? If the phone functions but you cannot see clearly, then you can either replace the screen or you can use it as it s(if its usable) and later the screen will clear, but you will have to keep an eye on the moisture.
