So I'm curious on if or when we may get the Lollipop update. Will it be an OTA update or will we have to download it from the Internet via a computer.

As far as I know, the Note 2 isn't getting an official update to Lollipop. It's over 2 years at this point, and it received a good amount of major updates. You'll have to root and ROM if you want it

Hmm, interesting. Hopefully it's true, as long as it doesn't run awfully slow

I'm fine with not getting an update. They tend to mess something up. Prime example was my POS Bionic--the last update it received brought back the dreaded whine in the headphone output. I ended up buying the Note 2 because of that problem, rather than wait the usual length of time between new phones. thanks, Moto...

If it comes to the Note 2, I will postpone allowing the update until I hear lots of good experiences with it.
I don't really care if we get it or not.
