How it happens: My phone fell down from my bed. However I didn't noticed it UNTIL my 7 month old baby pick it and sort of trying to eat and sucking right at the power button. When I tried to take it from her, it was already blinking and soaking wet. Therefore I'm not sure it starts after the fall or after my baby tried to eat it.

Symptoms: it keeps blinking at the start up logo without going anywhere further like how we use to turn on a phone. I already tried removing the battery. waited for a few seconds. When i attached the battery, without pressing the power button it continue blinking which was frustrating. somebody please help me (

If the method you are giving me will caused me to lose all my data, please let me know(which I hope not :c ). Thank you

Welcome to Android Central! Pull the battery and wait for at least 10 seconds. Then put it back in. It shouldn't start up on its own--if it does, the power button might be damaged.

See if you can boot into Recovery Mode and wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11018
