So it's kind of a waste to get the 45w charger accessory. I cant imagine they stopped doing 45w charging. Maybe they just don't advertise it.

No doesn't support it and 25w it's enough , so glad it does't support it a 45w would be a waste money anyway

There isn't a big difference except at the front end of the charge if the battery is low enough.
Makes sense, my baterry last all day and I have fast wireless charging turned off in the evening so when I put it on my charging stand it won't run the fan and keep the LED dimmed. I probably plug in my phone a couple times a month or when I leave town.

Damn I wasted getting the 45w charger on my preorder. Why is Samsung recommending it on the preorder page when the the phone doesn’t support it?

I guess you could say that samsung have experience in battery issues that could arise;)
I think I only ever used fast wired charging once on the Note 10+ @25watts
I got into a routine where I charge before work every morning to 100% and generally used around 40 - 50 % max per day, certainly no need for 45 watt charging.

However the P40 had 40 watt charging out of the box, very fast but I'm not sure this is good for battery health over time.

I used the the Samsung 45W on the S20 Ultra and the phone got very warm. I stopped using it. It didn't heat up Note 10+ however.
