Honestly, I would have rather used packing tape stuck to my screen for a screen protector than this.
So they actually sold that protector with a hole in it eh??
I was very concerned going into receiving my N20U because I really wanted a screen protector that works with the FPS and no matter how good the WSD is, I just didn't want to deal with a hard liquid application. But I didn't want to go without a protector at least in the beginning.
But reading in S10 or Note 10 forums I thought I always read that FPS usually don't dont work except for WSD. That's why people tried to hold on to the factory protector for as long as they can because besides WSD that works the best so I wasn't expecting much using a Spigen TPS protector.
But I installed the Spigen and the FPS has worked very consistently. If I get any failures I think right now it's on my part because I'm still learning to press on the sensor consistently playing with pressure and such.
Makes me wonder... was it just BS that FPS don't work well with other plastic or other protectors? We're using the same first gen sensor used in the S10, Note 10, S20 right?? Or did they make some sort of software improvement where it just works better now with protectors? I mean, my FPS on my N20U with Spigen is working better than my Note 8 ever did.
At this point if I read someone concerned that the phone didn't come with a protector except the film with a hole, I'd say... forget using packing tape as a solution (as mentioned above lol)... just get a Spigen or LK and call it a day.
