Came across this little hack when looking for battery saving techniques and thought I'd share. Normally, you can't use the 120Hz in medium power saving mode, but this little hack allows you to have both enabled. All you have to do is enable it in Bixby Routines. I don't use it all the time, but for those times I'm away from a charger and need the extra battery it's great! The video was created for the S20 series but it also works for the Note.

NICE!! Thanks. This is good for work when you're not using some of the battery drain functions. Probably wouldn't notice a performance difference.

Also do remember if you put it on power medium saving mode your Always on Display does get disable.
nope , sorry not true .
i use 96hrz ( using app ) + routine for power saving mode with 96hrz and AOD enabled .

how ???

1-first of all , delete routine , go to setting / apply power saving mode / before pressing apply ( unselect AOD ) ... than press apply .
2-remove power saving mode and back to optimized .
3-use routine now ( to apply 120hrz or 96hrz ) with power saving mode .
4-lock the phone and unlock again to see that routine work + power saving mode .
5-apply AOD
6- ALL DONE S20 ULTRA EXYNOSS
7-HOPE I HELP

Anyone confirm this option is available on an unlocked exynos n20u?

I don't have power option in bixby routines. Unless I'm missing something daft? Screenshot_20200829-122736_Bixby%20Routines.jpeg

Na, screen shot above was after the IF selection. I just don't have medium battery saving in my THEN selection.

( I already use bixby routines for other stuff, but there is no battery options for me in THEN. Wonder what I'm missing?)
Like if you select... If battery 40%...then... And you can choose it

EDIT: I figured it out. If you have adaptive power setting turned on, turn it off. Then the Medium power saving option will show up in the list.
