Wow! I couldn't afford to keep my old ones - I either sold them on Swappa as I got a new one, or traded them in on the new ones! The only one I kept was the Galaxy S7 Active that I used as a transition phone after they took back my two Note 7's and while I waited for the introduction of the Note 8! I boxed it up as a spare! Rugged, great battery life... just no s-pen!
I can't remember what my first phone was. It was back in like 1997 or something... Technology Pre-Historic Times there... I think I have the fossil somewhere still..
My first phone was a bag phone for my car with Bell Atlantic Mobile (Verizon). I think a call was .65 a minuits very expensive. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200903/292f186c19f0824d53a205a827051dbd.jpg
I almost bought a regular car phone, than a transportable or bag phone as you called it. I ended up waiting for the first motorola flip phone. I can't remember the model but I have it somewhere. It included 30 minutes a month so I never gave the number out. I would call people at my liesure for important stuff. Anyone who wanted to reach me could call my pager and I could decide if it was worth a call back or call them from a regular phone. Battery life was horrible....lol

If we're talking first phones I think this guy might've been my first. Nokia from around '97 I believe.
I have had so many Samsung phones but I always get rid of my devices. Sold my S20 a few weeks ago.
I got my first Samsung in 2012 - Exhibit II 4G and then the next one was S6, S6edge, S7, S7e, S8, S9+, S10+, S10e, S20. I have also sampled Note 5, Note 8, Note 9. Never warmed up to the Note series for some reason.
I will get the new Pixel - which is what I do in Fall and go back to Samsung S series in the Spring.
My first phone was a Sony Ericsson . I don't remember which one. After that I had a Nokia phone briefly and then I moved on two Motorola razors. I had a red and a pink one. Then I moved on to my first Samsung which was a Blackjack. I only had the Blackjack a month before I abandoned Samsung for Blackberry After a few years and 3 different BB I went back to Android starting with the HTC Vivid . after two years i went back to Samsung with the Galaxy s3 ( my favorite Samsung until the os update ruined it lol) and I've been stuck ever since.
I didn't realize my phone addiction went back that far.lol
Cell phones have come a long way especially Android devices now a days they are super stable devices no lag anymore at all.
Yeah they have... I remember back when I worked for T-Mobile when the G1 was coming out. I had the device in my hands months before release and thought it was the greatest thing since... Well, anything, but it was super SUPER strange to use and so vastly different, but in some ways the same as some of my Windows Mobile devices.
I knew this was going to blow up... I'm glad I was there when it started, but man, you hit the nail on the head with har far they have come.
My first Samsung phone was the S3 then Note 4, Note 7, S7 Edge and now Note 9. I do believe this will be my last Note whether or not the Note series stays around.
