Okay so the past two phones that I have bought I decided to get it unlocked model to work on Verizon. So far everything has been okay so I thought but I do delivery apps like GrubHub and stuff like that. and a lot of times when I go to sign on those apps it'll tell me that I do not have a stable internet connection and I spoke with GrubHub today and they did confirm that my internet will keep shutting off and on like every minute or so. I have reset the phone numerous times I've reset my network settings factory reset the phone and still having the issue I also did get a new SIM card for Verizon as well. So I'm curious if there's a way to potentially fix this. I also thought about flashing Verizon's from where on here just to see if that makes a difference.

Do you have a week signal when this happens?

I barely ever have full signal even though I'm in a bigger city a lot of times it's only one or two bars. It bounces around a lot. Now if I do flash Verizon firmware on here since it's unlocked will I be able to flash the regular firmware back onto it?

Are you asking if you can flash back to unlocked firmware? If so, yes

Did anyone else catch this? Exactly how can GH confirm that? That sounds really odd to me.

I drive for GrubHub so they can see when I'm online and not when I'm on a shift

Forgive me it's been so long since I've done any flashing of firmware from the good old days of different roms. I know it erases the phone but does it erase the sd card in the phone? Eh I'll take it out just in case.

I can give you a guide and tools where to download the firmware , it's straight forward and yes anytime you go to Carrier version to unlock version or vise versa it will factory reset so back up everything, and I would take the sd card out

This is the steps :

Windows computer needed

Latest Odin can Google it from XDA Forums and download the latest should be Odin prince comsey 3.14.1 / and Frija tool or samfirm (i usually download both)

Download samfirm v0.4.1 tool and frija, extract it with 7zip.

You will extract files for Odin prince comsey 3.14.1once download with 7zip and will do same for firmware with 7zip .

Put your model number then region and select check for updates , then download the FIRMWARE , extract the FIRMWARE with 7zip.

There will be 4 files after you extract the firmware

BL

AP

CP

CSC

Each of those files will go in Odin when you open to the corresponding slots

BL

AP

CP

CSC USE HOME CSC FIILE TO SAVE DATA /THIS ONLY GOING BETWEEN CARRIER FIRMWARE OR IF YOUR ON UNLOCKED GOING BETWEEN UNLOCKED FIRMWARE

Home data slot dont put nothing

connect your phone with cable to computer , once the files are in its slots hit start, once done you'll see pass in Odin and it will reboot

*Make sure you put phone in download mode

*If dont see your phone connected in Odin change cables or ports in computer .

Can't recall if people with carrier versions from. AT&T or Verizon bug had better connection if they disabled the 5G option... so flashing might be worth try.

Sorry brain is slow lol. So if I'm going to flash Verizon's firmware then I would download the latest Verizon one correct? Bc if I search by model number won't it give me the unlocked version I'm on?

Your phone shouldn't need any software and should work fine if you have a good internet connection. Have you tested your speeds?

Correct look for Verizon carrier model number not the unlocked usual U at the end not U1 which is unlocked
