This morning I have the notification.
If you have a carrier phone (i.e. bought your phone from Sprint) then you need to wait for Sprint (or t-mobile now) to release to update for your phone. What carrier? Should post the carrier. I got it on Sprint and this is what yours looks like

YES!!! Been looking for it for the past few days!! Let me go check.......brb........
Only solution I've ever seen is to connect to another phone's hotspot if you have a second phone with hotspot capability. Also if you have hotspot capability on your current device and have a back up phone you could put the SIM temporarily in the backup device. Is there any wifi nearby you could drive to?Damn it, I don't have Wi-Fi!! Anyone know how to download it without WiFi access??

One last question......
.....are most people wiping and resetting (factory reset) after this update since it's a major OS upgrade or not?

OP is for factory unlocked phones. It will not matter which carrier the phone is used for.
Let us know how the update works out. Reading mixed experiences.
It should come soon. My is the unlocked version as well, on t-mobile. I'm waiting to get a well.My phone is UNLOCKED, but I have it on the Sprint Network.
I don't reset but clearing the cache in recovery mode makes senseOne last question......

I clear the cache of the phone and reorganize the apps after software updates. Seems to make things go more smoothly after receiving the update.
