Note 3 taking 4+ seconds to get to lock screen?

Anyone notice this issue on the Note 3

After I put it on lock and don't touch my phone for a bit. When I click the menu or power button to get to the lock
Screen it can take up to 4-5 seconds for the lock screen to show up?
anyone getting this on there note 3 or know how to fix it?

Something is keeping the device from waking or is causing lag. Did the issue recently start? Often times you can trace the problem around the time of downloading a particular app or widget. Also, try rebooting the device to see if it clears out any issues and/or errors.

Are you using any battery monitoring apps or task managers?

I think I might of figured out the issue.
After reading the other topics on issues with this phone and
SD cards
So I pulled mine out of the phone. 32gig SD card and problem solved.

I guess this phone does have issues with SD cards.

Hope this helps anyone else with lag issues as I believe SD cards are causing the phone to lag.

You might be right, but not all the SD cards cause that. Mine is working just fine (Samsung's own 64gb card).

I am having the same issue and the SD card is Samsung 32gb... I will try removing the card however I don't think that is the problem nor the solution.
