It has the WCDMA only and GSM only option. But no LTE only option. Help!

I don't think any phone right now has a LTE only mode. Reason being incase you aren't in a LTE area you can still get service.

Too bad.
The constant change from 4g to 3g is draining my batter.

That's why I usually just keep my phone in 3G mode until I need to browse or use navigation. Then it's 4G all the way.

Thankfully, Verizon has my area on 4g lockdown, so I'm happy to avoid that 3g/ 4g issue. I could see how it would effect your battery because when I had the HTC Thunderbolt, 4g was in its infancy and not widespread. My battery was gobbled up quickly.

Yep. Pretty much what everyone else here has said. It's going to bounce back and forth if the 4G LTE signal is weak. Bummer for now, but hopefully they turn up the juice to your area.

That's a carrier issue than not your phone. If it's bouncing back and forth that's due to a weak 4g signal. If you could lock onto the 4g signal only your battery would plummet more since it sounds like a super weak signal already.

Yeah. Usually 1 bar. But still. It's faster. Haha. I usually download big files while at work. But guess I'm stuck with 3g for now.

dear

this code *#*#4636#*#* is not working on Note III

any one can help us to change the network to LTE via a secret codes of Samsung

The app posted above will work, though you may need root as Samsung blocked access to that menu on some of their phones after update
