Picked up my Note 3 and noticed there was a small clip thing in the box. Anyone know what that little packet is for?

They all look to be the same I am assuming Samsung figured they would wear out as it seems to be a softer plastic than the last note

Like anything made today it will wear out and Samsung was smart enough to give us spares. If this was CrApple they would be charging $29 for the kit.

I wondered about that, too, until I looked more closely at the label on the box. One of the items listed is "S Pen Accessory Kit", so I figured the little pin-like objects were tips for the S Pen. What I didn't get right away was that the metal clip thing was an S Pen tip-puller, so thanks for clarifying that.

Someone suggested to use the tool to help in removing the SIM, so that's what I did whereby, I think, a bit scratched the contacts. The guy at the store used the tip of the penknife for that.

The only book in the package was for Health & Safety, Warranty. There was nothing - I ordered the Note online from ATT.

I was wondering the same thing and AT&T had friggin' no clue and there was nothing in the booklet or Quick Start guide either, so it's good to know to hold onto this as it means the tips wear out and have to be replaced. I wonder "how many miles" they get before needing replacement.

I read it is excellent at getting the SIM card out too, since Samsung chose not to make the SIM slot spring loaded.

When I first got my phone, I'm pretty sure I read that it was a SIM removal tool too. Nice to know that it's for removing the S-pen tips too.

It clamps smoothly on the nib head and you just pull, and push in a new one. First one looks new still. Trying to get better accuracy with the S-Pen and this was recommended.
