Will the VZW NFC Chipped Simm work on older phones?

I like swapping sims to change phones (like use my moto in poor service areas) however I don't know if the sim from the new note 3 will work in an older phone like my maxx hd. Has anyone tried swapping vzw sims?

I don't think the NFC is related to the sim card. The first thing I did when I got my GN3 was to take the sim from my GN2 and NFC is still working on my GN3.

The simm will work in the Note 2 for sure

Excellent. Did you go to my verizon app to see if new device is listed? You can go back and forth to without even calling vzw?
