Anyone successfully tether their N3 without rooting?

If you root, what tether app do you use? Does WifiTether works on N3?

Sorry, I should try myself, but just too busy to root my phone right now.

Yes, Foxfi - Play Store is said to work on a number of unrooted devices, including the Note 3. Give it a try and see how it goes.

FoxFi in ATT just trigger the default ATT hotspot which is not what I want unfortunately.

Looks Hotspot from 'Pros systems, inc' is a quick toggle for default hotspot app. I am looking for a non-root hotspot replacement app.

Anyone has success with rooted N3 with WIFITether?

It's a modified APK from XDA. Makes the tether data look like phone data.

I'm still experiencing issues with pdanet. I actually pay for wifi tethering, but I'd rather not tether so they don't try to lock me down.
