for those getting 7-8 hours screen time what brightness % do you have your screen on?

do you find having it on auto brightness hurts your battery more than having it on 50-60%?

I keep mine at 100% brightness. No reason to have all these nice things and not use them worrying about battery life I still get through the day

Mine is at 75%. Normally I'd keep it at 100%, but 75% still looks awesome, and it saves the battery.

isn't 100% too bright on your eyes? agree on the enjoying the phone and not worrying about battery life. plus this is why having a spare battery is great.

I keep mine around 80%. 100% is too bright and I don't like the auto setting, it sets it too dim for me. Tried and app somebody here posted to try but really didn't like it that much so I just keep it set around the 80% and it works for what I need. Also never had to worry about the battery yet

    50 percent.

OP was asking about those have battery lasts 7 to 8 hrs screen on, I think. I don't think many of you guys with 100 brightness really last that long.

I use mine mainly for surfing net and keep brightness at 40%. When I get home after 11 hours from it was taken off the charger it still has about 40% left. I usually don't make any phone calls.

I keep mine on auto as well. This thing has the best battery life out of all the cell phones I've previously owned, ranging from LGs, iPhones, and HTCs.

I had mine on auto bc I was told anything more will eat up the battery and still having that problem even at 30%..I'm having a battery issue with my phone bc anything I do to save battery it still drains.

I thought auto bright was too dim, and I turned it off. And I increased the setting from around 40% to around 60%. I use it a lot outside and in the sun, it was really hard to see. I remembered someone saying that auto bright really increases it past the highest. I turned it back on auto and wow, I could read in the sun. I tend to leave it on auto but if it's too dim, I turn it off and increase the setting to suit. My Note easily lasts all day without about 5 hours use.

In a situation like this, I'd like to see an auto option that allows you to set parameters.

I cant tell if I'm having battery issues or I just use my phone too much. I can just about make it a full work day but I'm using my phone all day long. I wonder if using the S-pen drains the battery even more. I use my S-pen all the time.
