Longtime iphone user. One of the apps I like within the iphone messaging is the pop up messaging. I like that anywhere I am within ios, when a text comes in it pops up on the screen instead of having to scroll down from the top. Tried chomps sms but it doesn't work. Any help would be grateful. Thanks.

I use Go SMS Pro. But Handcent also does, as well as others. Haven't used Chomp, but I think it's popular. Are you sure it didn't have a pop up option?

Do these apps let you receive iPhone messages? Bc I haven't able to get them to go through

Chomp has it. Open up the app, click on your menu button, go into settings then click on notifications.

From there, click on "quick reply popup". There's all kinds of ways to configure it.

GoSms & Handcent both offer this feature as well.
    Good luck!

I find it bizarre that the native text app on Android phones are so lacking in features. My Note 3 does seem to have mostly fixed its inability to handle group texts. My wife/daughter both use Iphones, and my old S3 used to break the group texts apart (even though it was supposedly a supported feature). My Note 3 seems to support that feature well...although on rare occasion, I get a orphaned message that was supposed to be part of a group text session.
