Not really, you could use any card as long as it's not over 64GB (that's the stated limit, although SOME have reported getting it to work with a 128GB card). HOWEVER, if you plan on using 4k video recording on the card, a Class 4 won't cut it, I'd say you'd need a Class 10 (more expensive, obviously, but allows for higher speed read/writes). Oh, and of course, you need the card to be microSD/MicroSDHC, or it won't fit in there.

Update: I just saw your link... That will do just fine even for 4K video. And it's not at a very bad price, either...

Just a heads up, I'm on my 2nd Sandisk ultra. I've had trouble with this brand for whatever reason and the 2nd unit they've sent me is beginning to experience issues as well. Samsung actually makes a micro SD card that I use on a tablet of mine. I am actually considering switching my 64GB Sandisk for my 32GB Samsung just because of how unreliable the sandisk has become.

I use both the Sandisk class 10 and the ultra 1 class in 64GB on my S3, S4, Note3 and Note 8 and have never had any issues with the disks or the devices using them. Watch Amazon Daily Deals and you can usually pick up the ScanDisk Ultra 1 class card for under $50.00.
As stated above you will get much better performance in both burst still mode and video mode the faster cards.

Oh and if you do get a new card, it's best to format it with the phone's formatting feature as opposed to formatting the card on a computer. Look for the format feature in settings>Storage.

The total defense requires you to activate it. Just be sure to cancel AFTER getting the rebate. If you don't activate or cancel before getting the rebate, then they will deny the rebate
