Sound problem

I get a sound and when I check my notifications there is nothing there! And sometimes it will chime 3 or 4 times in a row with nothing on the notification.
Most of the times when I am chatting with line or viber. I ger 2 different sounds. One from the app itself the other one is I don't know where it is coming from.

When that happens hold your home button down and see what is running. Have you restarted your phone or did a battery pull? Sounds like an app is giving a notification, but something is blocking stopping it fron showing in the bar.

I woukd start with a battery pull and see if that fixes it. Have you installed any new apps lately? That could have not installed correctly.
