Anyone using Aviate beta? It looks cool, was curious for unbridled feedback.

Anybody out there have an Aviate invite they'd be willing to share? PM me, cheers!

Here is my setup.

I find it simple and functional but not very customizable. I'd like to see more options for color theme. I'm not a big fan of the primary colors. There is a dark theme option but I have a white note.

That's cool. I think it's a fascinating idea. It's like Google Now on crack

Thought I would past my thoughts. Concept is very cool. Categorization of apps seems very solid. I like the idea that the home screen experience is situational, I guess I would like more control around what those layouts are.

For example, if I could build a scheme for work, and then the launcher is bright enough to know, "he's at work, show that." right now each screen scenario looks pretty much the same.

Also, they need to provide a hide option for the omnibus app drawer. That option should be de rigeur on every launcher.

I'll keep it for now, I'm intrigued to see how it matures.

I missed the normal browser after a bit.
I felt that it might of hogged the GPS as its locations were basically down the the room I was in uni and changing lecture theatres etc was unnecessary / felt it depleted the battery tracking where I was the whole time.

I've used it, but each time I played with it, I experience a higher than usual battery drain.

The concept is nice, and perhaps I didn't really give it a fair shake, but there was nothing that I found that couldn't be set up on another launcher with regard to divvying up your apps to your respective dayparts on different home screens.

I tried it once for a day then went back to lightning. Aviate just wasn't for me. I do not like the Google now launcher that I have seen either
