How do you use your note 3 brightness wise? do you have auto brightness on or just keep it at 40-50%?

I have been having auto brightness on +5 and just switching it off when at night when the screen is harder to see.

I keep mine off and set at 40%. Usually, it sets it to dark in dark areas. Either the case, auto brightness uses more battery because it's using the sensors to actuate ambient light.

Set on +1 & Auto.

Not just with the Note 3 but others (hTc One, iPhone 5S, etc.) I don't know how/if these Auto Brightness works? Honestly, I just use to help battery life last longer.

I dunno about that I have found auto has helped battery life better than keeping the screen at 50% for example.

Mine is set about 15% with autobrightness off. That's where it's most comfortable to me. On sunny days I can't see anything outdoors, but the brightness slider is right there so it's an easy fix when needed.

I have never used an auto-brightness that is quick enough for my needs. They all tend to lag way too much for me. I keep my phone at 35%.
