I'm pretty sure I should know this but I just can't understand it.

Why is it that even when I have an image in the correct ratio and size im still asked to crop it to a square shape? What am I missing?

You likely don't have the right size format.

1080x1920 I believe is the right size...is that what you are formatting the wallpapers to?
