I've tried the Unlock Galaxy S4 app, made by the same developer and it worked perfectly, so I would say it can be trusted based on previous experience

What carrier do you have? Carriers have become much better about unlocking your phone. I have AT&T and I contacted customer service and said I was traveling abroad and they provided me with the subsidy code to unlock my Note 3. I was shocked how easy it was.

Im from the Philippines and Smart is my carrier, i dont think carriers here would allow such thing to happen cause theyre so closed minded. anyway i'll try to contact them.
