I dropped my Galaxy Note 3 while I was in the bathroom at work. I placed it on the sink counter but I moved my hand and it flew to the floor about 4 feet... It landed on its back. I have a s view cover. It sounded hard my heart stopped and I thought the screen would be shattered.

To my surprise it was intact.

    Thank you Samsung.

Luckily it landed on its back. It it landed on its face it might not have been so lucky

It's for falls like that the tempered glass screen protector is invaluable. I did same thing with my note 2 and the tempered glass shattered but when I peeled it off the screen was intact.

Dropped mine at the airport right on the corner / front of the phone and the otterbox commuter absorbed the full impact due to the rubber outer layer (similar design as other cases).. No damage at all.. I was amazed (and really happy)
