I believe you have a Chinese clone international model which does not have 4G LTE radios so you would not be able to access LTE service no matter what sim card you put in the phone.

Someone else may have more info but I believe this is correct from my Google search.

What model is the device? Carrier version or a 900/9005 model? Though 9005 models support 4G, it's international 4G and not carrier or USA compatible. The 900 has no LTE radios built in it.

As said here OP you bought the 900...so no LTE radios are in the phone.. Hence why you are not getting LTE.

I have the N9005 Version too (UK) and never see the LTE or 4G sign only HSPA+ my area hasn't got 4G yet I don't think 4G has only recently started rolling out in the UK a lot of cities don't have it yet only the bigger cities, only some parts of Northern Ireland have it have you checked with your network provider if your area has it? The only other thing is I can think of is have you got mobile data switched on?

I think you may have actually got a replica where did you get the device from? Your missing LTE in the network mode part section here is what mine looks like...

Bought from here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU3480896

Do you think Amazon would cheat the clients? So should I ask a refund to Amazon?

I have a strange feeling that if I change the network provider I'll have 4G...

Third party on Amazon. Anyway if i'll try first with another network operator befor asking for a refund.

I'm using Meteor from Ireland. In Ireland Vodaphone, 3, and O2 also support 4G already.

So you say if the option should always be there in the menu, even if there's no 4G signal available?

Maybe rooting the phone and using this app? https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ils?id=com.cc.signalinfo&hl=en&token=qjjc0y8k,

Correct, the option should be in the menu if the phone is capable of lte, regardless of if your carrier or location has lte.

You can try that app, I doubt it would show any hidden lte radio though.

Personally if it was advertised with lte, the LTE should be accessible without root.
