Rooted Note 3 upgrading to new firmware?

So I rooted my Note 3 several months ago (Yes, it triggered Knox) and now that the new Android firmware is available I would like the update to that. I tried several times right from my phone but it doesn't start and says I have to do it through Kies. I just want to make sure this will not screw up my phone. I do not care if I lose my root or the Knox is still triggered. I just want to new firmware :3

When connected to WiFi, my phone automatically starts downloading the update package. Then once its done, asks me if I want to accept and install it. I click accept and get the error saying that it cannot do it without connecting to Kies. I just want to make sure I don't screw up my phone D:

When you root you can no longer accept Over the Air (OTA) updates. You need to fully unroot in order to do so. You can try to unroot by using the superuser app that you have, or you can flash a stock ROM in Odin.
