Re: whats your top android apps

These go on every mobile device immediately. The other 999 apps get added after.

Launchers (Nova Prime, plus Swipepad/Pie Control/Dock4Droid, etc)
Tasker
FIle managers (Root Explorer, ES, etc.)
Titanium Backup
Adaway
Browswers (Dolphin/Opera/Chrome)
Pocket
Android Lost/Cerberus
Cloud storage (Dropbox/Box, etc)
Evernote
PimlicalA (PIM on steriods)
OfficeSuite
CamScanner
Night Filter (dim the screen at night)

On the Note3, MW Apps Manager is a nice addition.

From there, the normal stuff (for me, which is probably not normal) gets added.

Lastly, if you root, there are a bunch more, but I highly reccommed Xposed Modules.

Good luck!

A lot of mine have been mentioned already so I'll complile my unmentioned favorites:

AccuWeather (excellent weather app)
Bandsintown (essential for any music lover/concert goer)
Duolingo (want to learn a new language for free?!)
Reddit is fun (addicted to reddit? me too.)
Urbanspoon (find a new place to eat out every weekend)

1. SlickDeals app - Lets me quickly check for good bargains
2. TeamViewer - Lets me log into any computer remotely that has Teamviewer installed (great when someone calls me and asks me to fix their computer)
3. Amazon App Store - Free App of the day that has saved me at least a few hundred dollars
4. CWT/Tripcase - Since I work out of a suitcase for a living, this app tracks my itinerary and lets me know where I'm supposed to be (so I don't wake up in the twilight zone)
5. Samsung Watch-On - They say the most unsanitary thing in a hotel room is the remote control, with this app, I needn't worry.

Honorary mention

6. Microsoft has their Office suite available now (and free), and since I have to mess with spreadsheets from time to time, that may go on the list eventually.

How do you want to transfer? To your personal PC? Wired/wireless?

I use a number of different avenues:

Cloud apps: Dropbox. Box, etc. a lot.

File transfer apps: AirDroid.

Some file explorers work too (Solid Explorer, ES File Explorer)

ftp / filezilla is another option.

Good luck.
