does the s pen's tip move in as you write

Hi as the title says when I write I know this is the way it is ment to be but just want to make sure when I write on my note 3 the S pens tip moves a bit in is this normal

Yes, totally normal. The tip has 'stroke sensitivity', so it will actually go in and out of the S-Pen depending on how soft or how hard you push down on the screen to write. On a stroke-enabled app, you would see a thicker stroke the harder you press to write. Since this is a mechanical action, there is a degree of motion expected to the sides as well, not just in and out.
