Notification Bar Question

Something that has really been bothering me lately is the alarm clock icon in the notification bar signifying that I have an alarm set. Is there anyway to remove that icon WITHOUT turning of my alarm? I don't prefer to use a 3rd party app for this. Any help would be much appreciated

A 3rd party app probably wouldn't solve the problem anyway. I use Timely (which Google bought and made free, its is a really great alarm clock) and I still have the annoying alarm symbol.

Sorry, I should clarify, I mean I don't want to use a 3rd party alarm clock. I really like the Samsung alarm (what?? Did he actually just say that?!?!). Yeah I kind of enjoy TouchWiz and all its quirks.
