Charging

Hi,
I downloaded this app that tells me te current that is used to charge the phone. At it claims that the maximum is 1800 ma, but with the notes own charger and the cord it only gives me 1200 ma. Is this true and does it really pay off to buy a quicker one?

With the screen on, you will only see it report 1200mAh because it needs the rest to power the phone, including the screen. With the screen off it will charge at 1800 with the other 200 powering the phone.
