Infrared app

I'm looking for an app that sends out an IR pulse.

I could download an app for a tv I don't have, but I'm mostly just looking for something that'll send out just a plain, generic IR signal. Nothing fancy. I don't imagine there's anything out there that just does this, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask the community.

Why? I'm wanting to trigger a littlebit remote, remote trigger and since I almost always have my phone around, an app that sends an IR signal would be handy while I'm tinkering around.

You can program your own remote with the app Samsung IR - Universal Remote.

Not sure why you're against using the already existing remotes though. You can even use WatchOn without downloading any new apps. But you can use the above app to program a remote to just send your one signal.
