Galaxy Note 3: USB MTP Help

I'm having trouble with my MTP after connecting my note 3 to any device it seems not to do anything i don't have any type of error , I'm using original usb 3.0 cable after reading many threads as i could to figure out this issue I'm confident that the problem is in usb configuration on my phone related to the Qualcomm modem settings as my phone is reburbished so it might be RMNET + DM + MODEM mode ...does anyone have know how to get to those settings on a 4.4.4 andrioid i tried *#0808# bit it doesnt seem to work...any help appreciated
