I use a pin with my note 3 and i have to unlock the device to use the camera. How can i enable a camera shortcut when im using a password? My device is not rooted.

I have not found a way either with the PIN lock. Let's hope that gets fixed in the Lollipop update.

Only way you can get the camera icon to show up on the lock screen is if you have it set to the slide to unlock. Samsung didn't use the photo icon on password protected phones bc they figured people wanted their phone as secure as possible when using password protection and having the camera app/widget on the unlock screen of a password protected phone defense that purpose.
