Stop forwarded calls from going straight to voicemail on my Galaxy Note 3

I forward my office phone to my Galaxy Note 3, but the calls that come into my office phone go straight to voicemail on my Galaxy Note 3. The phone won't ring at all.

Technically, it's not the problem of your phone. Try check your call settings your call divert settings on your Dialer, or try call you carrier's customer support for the configurations on ways to configure them to your cellphone instead of your voice mailbox.

I tried AT&T support, and they verified that they could call my office phone, and then the transfer went to my cell phone which started ringing. So we think it's something in the office where I set up call forwarding. Could you please explain what you were talking about checking call divert settings on my Dialer? What is my Dialer?
