Note 3- When I plug in my charger, it doesn't charge even if it says it is

When I plug in my charger it says it's charging and then the battery percentage gets lower. But when I disconnect it, it says it's still charging. Any help? I have the note 3.

Sounds like the battery or charger may be shot. I'd try using a different cable first before replacing the battery
