s planner duplicates first Sunday in April

I noticed this a.year ago and thought I had got rid of it by clearing the calendar cache. That didn't work this year.

The first Sunday in April each year is shown twice. Some events for the following day get shown on the Sunday causing confusion. I can jump ahead to the start of April each year and see the duplicated Sunday.

My phone is galaxy note3 is running Android 4.4.2

You really have only four options when dealing with preinstalled apps that are acting up. Clear app cache, clear app data, wipe cache partition in recovery, factory reset the phone. Clearing the app data will probably delete your events, so best to backup your events before clearing the app data. Factory reset will wipe the entire phone, so back up all your data first if you're going to take that route.
