I'm ordering the Galaxy Note 4 as soon as the pre-order goes up on T-mobile. I'm buying the phone up front cash and then taking it to my carrier, MetroPCS, same thing I did with the Galaxy S4. I've seen that with each newer version of a Samsung S or Samsung Note, the phone has gone up about $30 in price.

Since the Note 3 was sold at T-mobile for $700, is it safe to assume that the Note 4 will be sold for $730 or may it be slightly lower or higher? Just to get a good idea of what to expect as there will be $50 in taxes, the Class 10 64GB SD card I want to buy and possibly two covers.
I got the business card of my t-mobile sales associate last night. He said stay in touch with him, and he will make sure I get one. I am eligible for an upgrade with 0 down too. I will finance the phone at $25.00 /mo. I am upgrading from a GS3 so it's a big step up for me.

    Why not 4000 mah
It's possible. The Note 3 had a 3200mah battery, and the Note 4 will have a processor that is 40% more efficient according to reports. However it's screen resolution will be power hungry.

I say also between $700-$800, however, probably on the higher end, like $765.00

LTE advanced for US? I don't see that happening so we don't have that here.

The att s5 and m8 currently support lte-a with carrier aggregation. I don't see why the att note 4 wouldn't support it.

t-mobile also started experimenting with lte-a in certain markets and their plan is to have extensive coverage by the end of 2015. That is a little over a year from now.

Do you have proof of that? I remember them saying to convert edge to LTE by the end of 2015 but don't remember a peep about LTE a.

Depends on carrier. But the hardware should be capable. Even if not working now, it can be updated later, similar to how the Verizon Note 3 didn't have xlte support at release, but it was added after an update.

I was so close to selling my S5 for a galaxy note 3 because I am so impatient, but I have decided against it and to wait it out until the Note 4 is released. Bit of luck I'm not on contract. I can't wait to get this phone!

Ill probably end up waiting for Note 5. Quad HD display is nice but I'm more then happy with my Note 3. I'm off contract as well so I don't think it will be worth another 700$ right now. Like I said, more than happy with note 3

I would expect the GN4 pricing to fall in line with the GN3 prices. Yes the specs went up a bit but its also been a year and that should generate some price parity and they have LG and apple to contend with.

I don't care if the back is plastic, wood or paper since it needs to be something other than metal to allow for NFC to work. Plus we all want a removable battery door and a microsd slot so there we have it.

I never use a phone without the Otterbox, so I don't care about the material or the looks of the phone.

The only thing that I wondering about is the ability to root the Note 4. It's getting harder and harder to root newer phones. I suspect one day we may see a phone that is 100% impossible to root.

Do you think there's any possibility of the Note 4 being released in the USA in September?

I pre-ordered my Note 2 which arrived in November 2012. I have completely enjoyed the 2, and I'm lonnnnging for a Note 4 asap!
