Previous Notes used a Micro Sim but the new Samsung Alpha takes a Nano Sim.
Is Samsung moving toward the Nano sim now?

I tried searching reviews and could not find the answer.

Is it the same or different as the S4? i.e, when I upgrade shortly, I need a new sim? DIdn't realize.

Think on the N4 video, it looks like a micro Sim as previously stated. S4 takes a micro Sim. Shouldn't be an issue....same cards.

SIM size is a very important factor. We were already facing problems with small size of SIM because it was very difficult to store and find such small items in valet or pocket. Again reducing the size to micro, nano, granule etc. will definitely create problems in handling the SIM. All mobile phone manufacturers should stick to one reasonable size. They should not reduce the size beyond certain handling size. I feel nobody should reduce the SIM size below mini SIM.
