Note 4 - Post your battery life screens and info

As seen in other threads there are some people saying the battery is terrible and others saying it is amazing. Rather than arguing and going back and forth, I was hoping to start a thread dedicated to battery life screenshots from a lot of different users.

1. Post a screen of your battery info and one of your screen time.

2. Add a few words about your usage habits, sync settings, etc.

I'm hoping this will help give the community a better sense of what people are seeing with real world usage since we all know reviewer tests are highly subjective. I would start it off but I didn't get the phone early and the reports of way lower battery life than expected honestly has me concerned about purchasing it at all.

Over 10 hours, screen on auto brightness. Sync is set to the fastest rate for everything. 56% battery left after 10 hours. Did not play games today. Web browser, play music streaming, ran Jeffit app for an hour, text, email, phone calls. The battery has been drained and charged 3 times.

I got my Note on Tuesday and haven't really kept my hands off of it for too long, so this really wouldn't be a typical day with normal usage habits. Today I consistently left my screen brightness to about half. I skimmed through a couple youtube videos. Tested out a couple internet browsers and did a lot of web browsing in general. Downloaded and tried some apps to connect on my chromecast. I took a couple pictures and about 3 small videos. I used several applications and more than anything I just did a lot of playing around with phone's UI to see if I came across lag. All this was done while I was connected to "wifi". Again, my day basically consisted of me being lazy and sitting on my couch with phone in hand. Tomorrow I will have more realistic use since I will be working.

T-Mobile just got the battery update.. So we will see how it helped!

Oh and I've been on LTE the whole time.


I've pretty much been streaming some video, calling and texting, or if I wasn't doing one of those things I'm streaming HQ Google Music / on the forums .

Okay at home... About to charge.. At 15 percent.

Here's my first day from box until I had to plug it in to make some calls. I wanted to see what I could get out of the last few percent, but oh well. Mix of wifi and data, new update downloaded over data, and all my app installs and other setup stuff. Curious to see how it does tomorrow, but not too terrible all things considered.

Edit: I should have mentioned that it came out of the box at 63% and I didn't install the update until almost 2 hours later.

That's actually common.. T-Mobile is pretty fast about getting updates out.

T-Mobile just got the battery update.. So we will see how it helped!

I just got my TMO Note 4 yesterday afternoon, so didn't really know what the battery life was like before yesterdays update. So all I can say is it's great now! After 12 hours of almost constant and heavy use, including pairing with Gear 2 Neo, I was still at 12%. Plugging in now and going to bed.

I've noticed a change in battery usage after the update.

I'm just wondering what the battery life could be like with just a 1080p screen. We wouldn't be able to tell the difference and I would never have to worry about the battery dying. if the phone is dead the screen looks like crap no matter what the resolution.

Either way the battery on this thing is fine. If you're that worried I'd recommend carrying a spare.
