I don't see how people are getting over five hours of on screen time. I've already had my battery replaced and have been told there is no issues with my phone. I don't have issues with getting a signal, power saver is always on minus data restriction, and there isn't any application that I noticed that's draining the battery. I manually sync all my apps. Don't get me wrong still very happy with the results I'm getting especially coming from an S3.

To you guys that are getting 5,5+ hours SOT and 24+ hours battery, do you use Google now with Google now location turned on?
Without Google now and location off I get fair battery life but with everything turned on the battery takes a pretty hard hit.

Maybe we should have everybody who is getting more than 5 hours screen time to compare their notes, apps, launchers, apps that are turned off etc to see if we can find some common denominators

Although I still miss my old 2013 Moto X, the battery on this phone definitely blows it away. One of the reasons I got this over the 2014 Moto X.

I imagine the screen brightness makes the biggest difference in the SOT variability. I keep mine relatively dim as I'm indoors quite a bit.

Loving the battery life of this phone.
Not a crazy amount of on screen time here but streamed music with bluetooth on at random times.

I'm posting from my n2 right now but I'll put picks up when I'm back on the n4. I was getting 6 to 6 1/2 hours SOT. Then att did an update which dropped my battery life to around 4 hours I think 4 1/2 was the higher limit. I had to wipe the cache to get it up to 5-5 1/2 hours. I really don't want to but I may just factory reset and hope I get my 6 plus back. If I have to I will go to the att center and have them wipe my phone so the update can get removed

Did you get it back? How is everyone getting these long 5+ SOT? Are they all Verizon and AT&T users?

I got horrendous battery life a couple of days ago. Not sure why. Lately it's been getting worse and worse. Maybe it's my gear 2 that I got for Christmas.

This is running an aftermarket 4800mAh battery. I consider this non-stop heavy usage, testing new battery. I was streaming music, downloading, using apps, and web browsing for like 20 hours. And the settings could be better for battery life. I'll post back with more normal usage, should last 2 days.Note 4 - Post your battery life screens and info-uploadfromtaptalk1424088670868.jpgNote 4 - Post your battery life screens and info-uploadfromtaptalk1424088679091.jpg

Mind posting settings, etc.... How many push email accounts, running FB, twitter, etc....

This phone does have the best battery life I've ever had but wouldn't mind squeezing more juice out!

My settings varies throughout the day because of an app called profile scheduler+. Everything is off at 11pm. Only data is on during work hours. And normal hours I have everything on except nfc. But the settings or set to no change in the app. So what ever was left on/off last is still the same setting, unless I catch it. I do not use Facebook. I just got rid of Twitter app. Only use instagram, tapatalk, google+, Snapchat, vine, Pinterest, and tumblr. I stream music, media, and videos via Bluetooth car or over chromecast. I use reddit app reddit news a lot. And I'm addicted to playing clash of clans. So my use is kinda moderate I guess.

This is my battery info. This is close to typical daily SOT for me. Obviously depends how much time I spend on games and/or Youtube.

Would restoring the phone help any? It’s not my battery, because I have two different ones. I actually don’t even know if I have a bad battery life, not quite sure what I should be getting on average. I am a pretty heavy user throughout the day. Texting, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Podcasts etc… So my battery life might be pretty good.

If a restore would help, I would consider… I just don’t want to re-download all my apps and mess with settings etc again.

Someone told me to do a factory restore after each phone update, not sure if that is necessary.

I would do the factory restore it should help. But you should also monitor the apps that you're using. Some apps i find causes your battery to drain cause it's always searching for something.
