Re: Note 4 Post your battery life screens and info

Bluetooth normally off, I turn it on manually when I get in the car and also when I am at the gym.

Wi-Fi is ALWAYS on, especially since my T-Mobile signal is weak to non-existent in my condo.

NFC is ALWAYS off.

Rocking the Note 4 naked while I wait for my Samsung (Protective, not S-View) case to arrive on Thursday.

Is your location on high accuracy, power saver or GPS? Sorry for asking all these questions, but I'm really trying to get better battery life.

After a full charge maybe every 3 hours or so I might lose 1% of not using the Note 4 on AT&T. I believe I get pretty good battery life.

After more use, it seems like the battery will be plenty to get me through a typical day. I also turned on a bunch of features to test standby time while I slept. WiFi on, Bluetooth on, NFC on, Google Now on, Google Now voice detection set to always listen, push exchange email, etc. Looses 1% for every hour of standby.

Re: Note 4 Post your battery life screens and info

Now for the next question and please excuse me if this is a inappropriate space for this but…. which brand is perffered? anker or zero lemon ? if preferred ill start a separate thread.
Well they're both different. On the note 3 at least the Anker was 6400 mah, so basically double the stock battery. It was lighter than zerolemon but still have about 1.5 days until a charge.

Zerolemon on the note 3 was 10,000 mah battery so a major beast. It can last 2.5-3 days until charge. However it was a lot heavier and bulkier than the Anker. So it all depends on what you wanted more. Crazy more battery But didn't mind the heft or double the battery with the Anker but still almost like stock

I know because I had both for the Note 3. . I assume the note 4 versions will be fairly similar

Okay here is mine. I will list what I did below.

WiFi and VoLTE calls (about an hour and a half worth)

Browsing the forums / taking screenshots on LTE and Wifi.

Pictures and many text / mms messages

Streaming a little video and music (with Bluetooth headset).

I have GPS (location) on all the time on high accuracy and have the weather widget refresh hourly. The ONLY thing I've shut off on the phone is the "Air Gestures" or whatever they're called (for swiping your hand to change pages and stuff).

The very last bit of the battery (the plummet) was from my hotspot running for an hour and a half or so for my coworker. He was uploading photos to iCloud using my LTE connection.

Edit - also yes I've received the battery update thanks to T-Mobile.

This is my stats so far. I have bluetooth, wi-fi, location, push notifications from Gmail, wsj, espn, team stream on, NFC off, and auto brightness. Clearly I'm considered more of a heavy user. Is this good battery so far? This is my FIRST Android phone ever and I'm still trying to learn the OS and device.

Re: Note 4 Post your battery life screens and info

I messaged both zerolemon and Anker and both will release their extended batteries around Christmas time

For your second question I've heard just charge whenever you need to. But it's best not to let the battery drop all the way to 0 all the time. But what I've read

I contacted Zerolemon and they told me "Hello, we will release our note 4 and note edge batteries by approximately the end of October to mid November. As of yet we do not have a specification of the battery."

Yeah I heard someone else got your reply. Who knows. I wouldn't mind it coming in November. But they told me around the holidays 😒

Here are my updated stats at the end of the day. I had my bluetooth LG tone headphones connected all day until that died. I had power saving mode on and my auto-brightness on. I would considered my usage yesterday heavy as I had music or podcasts playing, all push notifications from different sources, some facebooking, downloading and etc. What do you guys think about these stats?
