Doesn't the battery get reset when you charge? Plus, how can you tell he/she recharged from that picture?

The phone resets when you charge up to 90% or higher --- Also see the picture below .. You can see right there the battery went straight up which indicates a charge :).

Just curious do you have an Airave?
No. I'm on 3/4G. 4G exclusively in the evenings when I go upstairs. 3G downstairs during the day. My wifi is OTA 30 Gig, with 30 Gig in overages last month (yes, I know how much that is) so I'm never on wifi. I'm pretty sure that's where I'm burning battery.

Day 4, battery life keeps getting better.

16 hours off charger, 5 hours screen time, 4% battery left.

Battery life has gone up by 2 hours each day.

Ok so I noticed people were posting exceptional battery of 1 day and more. I reviewed those stats and noticed one thing in common: no usage of the music player or a podcast app. So I decided to test my battery to what I can call heavy usage:

Bluetooth On and connected
WiFi On
Location On
No power save mode
Push emails
Push notifications from various apps: wsj, espn, Team stream
Playing music and podcasts
Phone calls
Texting
Responding to emails
Screen brightness at 30-40%
Google now on
Web surfing

With all that I got 16hrs...check my stats. My screen time was however a little over 2 hours. What do yall think about that? Does this sound more than how you use your phone?

Day 5 of using my Note 4. Battery life keeps getting better, much better. I didn't use it as much today as the past few days ago that helped but still, I'm impressed.

- 13.5 hours of the charger
- 3 hours screen on (1 to 2 hours less than normal for me)
- And best of all... 50% battery life left! Woo hoo!

Coming from the S3, this was quite impressive to me. The battery remained at 100% for 51min. Granted I barely used it in that amount of time. With my S3, the charge would drop %2 just from un plugging it.

Hopefully I have fixed a couple of battery life issues and I thought I would pass it on.

First, I had an issue with the Indexing Service running constantly. There is another thread with details on that. Basically, I changed the name of a document folder that I have, by putting a period on the front of the name. That appears to hide the folder from the indexing service and my horrible 6 hour battery life went to more like 14 hours.

I have also had seen the Exchange service running constantly. I didn't grab a screen shot of battery usage, but below is a shot of the WiFi data it is sucking. That is for one week of maybe 30 plain emails. I have two exchange accounts, one for work, and one for my Outlook.com account. I deleted the work account, that wasn't it. I deleted the Outlook.com account. That was it. When I set up the Outlook.com account, I used the built in Outlook.com configuration menus. To fix it, I manually configured it as a 'corporate' exchange server account, and manually entered the server settings. Now, I don't even see the exchange service running.

Hopefully that helps my battery life a lot.
Anyone else using Outlook.com?

This, I had setup my work email and exchange service was running all time, today I deleted that account and installed gmail 5.0 apk and set up account through that, huge difference battery wise so far, will post up stats later.

I have my work email set up through the stock app, using the same process. We use O365 so I have a hosted exchange account through Microsoft.com too.

No issues with battery life, however, and I have already pushed 4 mb data thru there this week with initial setup and normal usage.

My battery life is excellent right now.

What settings did you choose when you set up the account?

Very pleased with battery life. It's hard to get the battery levels down.

That's more than 7 hours screen on time. I always have location WiFi, Bluetooth and auto max screen brightness on. It's paired with my Moto 360 all day as well.

I'm impatiently waiting for Zerolemon, my battery life continues to suck. I love this phone, I'm glad I got it but I'm not happy with the battery life, at all. And I've got a Note 2, Note 3 and Note 4, the 4 has by far the worst battery life of the 3 versions. All on Sprint. I toggle on when needed, wifi, BT, Data, sync is off for everything, push for Breaking News only. Average battery is 6-8 hours battery time, 4 hours on screen.
