Piggybacking off another thread...What is your phone history?

Many people mentioned their history of switching phones in the "What are you leaving for the Note 4" thread.....so I thought I'd start a brand new thread just for that.

I had a Nokia 3310 as my first cell phone at 16. The sales guy actually should have never sold it to me as I was only 16 with no parent. I hid that phone for months lol.

I don't really remember what was directly after that, but I remember my first "smartphone" being the Instinct...wow what a horrible phone! There were some "crackberries" in the mix. And I think a Rumor. After that it, I'm pretty sure it was an EVO. I had that about 6 months before jumping ship to Apple with the iPhone 4. Well, then the shiny new 4s came out soon after, and I just HAD to have it. And then I HAD to have the Note 3 which I paid full price for so I didn't lose unlimited data. Unfortunately, I tried rooting it, and bricked it so I moved on to the S5. We moved to an area without Sprint, and I decided to go back to Apple for the iPhone 5. A week later I wanted the 5S. And in less than a week, it will be the Note 4

Honestly I couldn't tell you all the phones I had. I got my first one in 8th grade on Cingular, bought it myself. It was the original Nokia phone lol the blue one with the snake game on it lol. It blurs from there but I know I had many many Nokia phones. Then I found Samsung. I had the captivate, infuse, S2 skyrocket, S3, Note, Note 3 and right now the M8. I'm sure I've had more just can't think of them. There's a Windows phone in there somewhere but definitely NO iPhones. I had the second generation iPod and realized...Apple sucks lol Samsung is my go to. I tried something different with the M8 and now I want my Samsung back lol
EDIT: Also had a Moto X...hated it.

My phone history started way back when, on pagers. My first phone was the old Nokia flip phone, can't remember the number, then I got hooked on nextels, the first smart phone I had was the Nextel 930, which I stupidly traded for a Nextel blackberry. Then a few Droids, then the awesome palm treo. Went to the dark side for a couple of years with an iPhone 4, (don't know why I did that, but everyone I knew had one so it must be nice, boy I was wrong), got rid of that for a Note 1 on AT&T, switched to Verizon and got the note 2, when the note 3 came out, I gave the fiancé the 2 and I got the 3, now here we are, waiting for this 4 to drop

Got the phone yesterday and I'm in love! The screen is beautiful and the phone is nice and fast with no lag to speak of. I'm in the adjustment period right now after using iOS for so many years, but I'm quickly getting used to Android and I really love the customizability of it versus iOS.
