Sammy is getting very, very aggressive now...

Must be due to those bad earnings reports from last week.

Plus I think the nexus 6 announcement got them worried about losing more sales. I would have cancelled my note 4 preorder and wait for a nexus 6 if it was not for the 200 Samsung promo. I would rather spend 500 net of my promo rebate for a verizon note 4 then 700 for a nexus 6. I would need to get the 64 gb nexus if I went that route but with a note 4 I can use my 64 gb card.

Any idea how long they've extended the offer? I'm not sure I can make it until tomorrow.

Not as pissed as me!!! First time I've ever went home empty handed on a release day!!! The only consolation is that I was able to get a bunch of Note 4 accessories from the Samsung site (S-view case, extra battery with charging case, and a spare stylus, using the 50% off coupons I found online.

A BestBuy Mobile Rep and their Samsung Rep just confirmed that the trade-in promotion has been extended to Nov. 1st when purchasing either the Note 4 or S5.

A BestBuy Mobile Rep is telling me the deal is on pre-orders and they it's only available for Verizon customers at this point. Hopefully this rep is wrong.
I would go back at him w/ the website ad in hand. It does not say anything about preorders. Tell him to get a manager. Up until today, it said preorders. It doesn't anymore.

New promo doesn't required preorder. As the matter of fact it is good for S5 as well. I just got note 4 for me and s5 for my son. Got $200 trade in for each.

Wish Samsung itself would extend and eliminate the preorder requirement. Sams club has a lower base price and actually has the phone in stock.
Best Buy doesn't appear to know if they'll ever fill the preorders.

The Preorder Offer was until the 16th. The Note 4/S5 offer started the 17th. And I'm pissed too. Preorder not ready and none in stock within 30 miles of my home.

What is Sam's charging for it (I assume Walmart will be the same)? I was at Sam's tonight and they didn't even have it on display yet.

Does Sams or walmart take trade-ins? since it says specifically that it needs to be done in the same transactions

Too bad this can't be used with a order online, only way I'd be able to keep my UDP by swapping in my Note 2's SIM.

Sams was $267 for Sprint contract price. Not sure of other prices.

I didn't really think about whether Sams takes tradeins, since you could not preorder at Sams anyways, which kills that option. I would think somewhere other than Best Buy would take tradeins, and perhaps there's some price match combo out there.

I'm mostly annoyed that the Best Buy here didn't get in enough Note 4's for the preorders, and then sold what they had to new customers rather than actually fill any preorders (they had one to sell me until I mentioned my preorder - then suddenly that one was for new customers and they'd tell me if mine came in). I will probably have to keep checking the Best Buys that are further from me to find one at a store I didn't preorder at and get that instead... if one comes in, and if the preorder didn't lock my number up in any way. I hate Best Buy so much at this point - they've never seemed very good, but this has been such a mess. With the preorder requirement though, you're pretty much stuck with Best Buy or the carriers.

Both the Best Buys in my town are sold out for AT&T. I tried to pre-order on the last day for their pre-order promo but there were no white ones available. I'm really glad they have another $200 gift card offer going now. I think as soon as it's back in stock I'm going to jump.
