Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Why don't I have any data while I am in a call?

I have a Sprint Galaxy Note 4 but noticed whenever I get or make a call I lose data until the call is ended. Does anyone else have this problem, have a solution or have any answers as to why this is? My Galaxy S3 didn't have this problem and I'll probably return this phone if I can't get this resolved. Thank you.
